ABOUT THE ORGANISATION


OBJECTIVES:

(i)        To promote and guarantee obedience of law without order among various groups in Tanzania.

(ii)       To advocate for change of youth development policies and creation of laws against acts which is detrimental to the good conduct among various groups.

(iii)      To cooperate with organisations dealing with behavioral change like prisons, police, Faith Based Organisations (FBOs) and the like institutions.

(iv)      To Liaise and cooperate with local and central government and all other civil society organisations.

(v)       To provide technica assistance in terms of knowledge transformation to the prisoners with the intention of changing thier behavior so as they may live descent life in the near future

(vi)      To act as a Bridge in facilitating various needy groups in the society in terms of finding scholarship and carrers guidance for having better life in the near future.

(vii)      To providde legal assistance among various groups in the society of Tanzania.

(viii)     To provide support to youth and children in respect of their understanding and respecting laws and accesing justice.

(ix)      To promote the protection of consumer rights.

(x)       To provide environment protection and conservation.

ACTIVITIES:

1.   To provide counselling to the prisoners with the aim of imparting knowlegde concering law so as to change their behavior and become good citizens.

2.   To conduct seminars, workshops, training and research among various groups in the society with the aim of providing knowledge of obeying laws and regulations without order form administrstive bodies.

3.   To establish various clubs in secondary schools, cilleges and universities with the aim of changing the mindset of the community upon understanding laws.

4.   To raise fund which shall be used to respond to organisation activites.

5.   To act as a bridge in advocating and lobbying organisation objectives through mass media such as Radio, TV, and Nemspapers with the aim of educating societies to be aware about the laws within the society.

6.   To concur with government policies aiming its various initiatives of fighting against behavior which led to violation of laws.

7.   To provide legal education to the youth and children to enhance thier respect of the rule of law, human rights and democratic governance.

8.   To provide legal support and defences to the youth and children in need.
